For South Africans wanting a completely built replica or a DIY kit during the 1980s, ʼ90s and early 2000s, Kit Car Centre (KCC) was the place to go. You could get kits for anything from GT40s and AC Cobras to Porsche 356 Speedsters, Porsche RSK Spiders, a plethora of beach buggies and even a stylish VW Golf-based sports car badged the Razzo Roadster. Cars built by the firm display ‘Kit Car Centre’ as the make on the cars’ registration papers.

Solid car in running condition. The water-cooled Volkswagen Golf motor combines with the relatively lightweight body to make it a decent performer. It needs a bit of cosmetic tidying up. Ideal running weekend project. This car is available to view in Pretoria by appointment.
